Shirley is an average looking girl. She doesn’t have any real distinguishing qualities (except maybe her bosom, but that seems to be the same for all girls from this series). She has long, orange-red hair with a few strands pulled back away from her face. She is about 5’3 and weighs 120 lbs., and has an athletic build from her training in swimming. She has vibrant green eyes that always seem to be lit up and always has a smile or a grin on her face, even if she isn’t in the highest of spirits. She is usually seen wearing cute and conservative clothing. She refuses to wear anything too short or too revealing. If she finds it to be too short, she'll become self-conscious and will probably back out of wearing it entirely. Shirley’s conservative clothes are often contradicting against her energetic, lively personality. |

She is a cheerful, charming and upbeat girl. She always has a bright grin to hide her deepest feelings. She is a good friend that worries about those around her, and she likes to give everyone a fair chance. She will often go out of her way to try and make others feel accepted and appreciated. She always tries to understand where someone is coming from before passing any sort of judgment. She isn't the type of girl to believe rumors without understanding the situation. Once Shirley considers you a friend, she becomes extremely loyal. She won't betray you, and if there is something she is uncertain about, instead of believing the rumors, she'll be sure to take it up with you first. Shirley is also a mature girl, due to losing her father when she was a teenager. She managed to deal with her father’s death while putting on a smile to try and dissolve any worry her friends would have for her. Though she is a girl driven by her feelings and emotions, she still tries to always think with a clear head, even when under emotional stress. |

Shirley is the daughter to Joseph Fenette and Maria Fenette. She was born and raised in Britain for most of her life. She was always a happy child and was basically Daddy’s little girl. She respected and looked up to her father immensely, even joking around to say that she would one day marry someone exactly like him. She was a bright and cheerful girl, and some people would go as far as to call her a little ray of sunshine. Shirley had never been a shy girl and seemed to make friends quite easily. She was on the student council as well as on the swimming team. While she wasn't an extremely popular girl, she was still well known because of her positive attitude, charm, and enthusiasm to get to know new people. She attended boarding school during the first half of her high school experience, but soon returned home after her father was killed while on active duty in the military. She then left boarding school and continued her schooling back in her hometown. Once she graduated, her mother encouraged her to study abroad, considering that Shirley had sacrificed a big part of her time after the passing of her beloved father. Her mother refused to let her miss out on any more normal growing experiences and strongly urged her to get into a good university. |
